Grounds: concluding an employment contract at least 3 months before applying for the residence permit with a company that has existed for at least 1 year. Salary of at least 2 520 euros per month after tax.

- Document confirming that the company has been operating continuously for at least one year (Extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities or equivalent)

Residence permit for individual entrepreneurs
Grounds: acquiring status of an individual entrepreneur at least 3 months before applying for residence permit, with service contracts concluded on behalf of the individual entrepreneur with legal entities, which were concluded at least 3 months before applying for residence permit, generating an income of at least 2 520 euros/month.
- Residence permit validity period – 3 years with the possibility of renewal.
Required documents
- International passport
- Contracts with counterparties showing that the applicant will work with them for at least 1 year (the duration of the legal relationship directly affects the grant period of the residence permit)
- Document confirming that the companies the applicant collaborates with have been operating continuously for at least one year
- Letter from counterparties confirming their intention to continue collaborating with the applicant in the future
- Documents confirming the long-term existence of the applicant's organization (if applicable), as well as confirming their qualifications

Residence permit based on financial sufficiency
(Non-Lucrative Visa)
Grounds: Availability of funds of at least 35 000 euros (for one applicant) in a bank account outside the Russian Federation. Availability of passive income (dividends/rent, etc.) of at least 2 400 euros per month.
- Validity period – 1 year with the possibility of renewal
Required documents
- International passport
- Bank statement confirming the availability of funds of at least 35 000 euros in a bank account outside the Russian Federation
- Documents confirming passive income of at least 2 400 euros per month, and a bank statement showing the receipt of this income for at least 3 months prior to the application for residence permit
- Ownership of or a rental agreement for at least 1 year for property in Spain for residence during the year
Student visa
Grounds: Studies (e.g., Spanish language courses of at least 20 hours per week at an accredited school, university studies, etc.).
- Validity period – 1 year with the possibility of renewal for the duration of studies.

- Documents confirming enrollment in an accredited educational institution
- Documents confirming residence in Spain (registration, rental agreement)
Renewal of residence permit for individual entreprenenurs is possible after 3 years – for 2 years, then – obtaining permanent residence permit.

- Payment of social security contributions (Seguridad Social) for individual entrepreneurs (Autónomos) in Spain during the residence permit period. First 2 years – 1 040 euros per year (86.66 euros per month), then about 300 euros per month – minimum payment;
- Payment of Autónomo taxes – about 3 700 euros per year for the first 2 years, about 6 000 euros in subsequent periods (paid quarterly throughout the year);
- Continuous health insurance for 3 years;
- Residence in Spain for at least 183 days per calendar year for 3 years;
- Certificate of no criminal record.
Renewal of residence permit based on an employment contract is possible after 3 years – for 2 years, then – obtaining permanent residence permit.

Stages of obtaining residence permit in Spain
